Coach Details

Coach Andrew, a native of Ohio, has been immersed in baseball and softball from a young age. As a standout pitcher, he competed at the collegiate level where he honed his skills as a pitcher and developed a strong interest in game strategy. Growing up, his family owned a batting cage, which gave him the ability to begin teaching the fundamentals of pitching, hitting, and fielding at a young age. This sparked a lifelong passion for coaching young athletes.

Coach Andrew has coached softball for over seven years, including three as the head coach of Las Vegas Blast 2013. His expertise, enthusiasm, and player-first approach is centered around bringing out the best in athletes. Under his leadership, his teams have won 1st place at AFA and PGF events. This season, his team will compete regionally in events hosted by Triple Crown, PGF, Alliance, and AFA. He has served on the board of Northwest Girls Softball and is very involved in local Little League.

“Coaching gives us the opportunity to empower young athletes to be physically and mentally ready to dominate in softball and in life. Growth is a process, never cheat yourself by giving anything less than 100%!” says Coach Andrew.

Whether coaching a team, running youth camps, or mentoring athletes one-on-one, Coach Andrew is dedicated to constantly learning and fostering a love for the game.
